In 1847 – when your Great-Great-Grandfather was but a twinkle in his Daddy’s eye, shiraz vines were planted on the river flat in the newly settled Barossa Valley -in a place called Turkey Flat.
Come 2017 we’re celebrating the lifeblood of our winery, our ‘Ancestor’ shiraz vines with a fittingly sumptuous dinner.
With the winery as our backdrop we will feast on a menu by Africola‘s Duncan Welgemoed and explore the past 27 years of Turkey Flat Shiraz created by these 170 year-old gems.
